The ArthroStim Instrument
The ArthroStim is a handheld device designed to help a chiropractor correct spinal misalignments gently and effectively to a more focused tissue area as necessary. Instead of the single dose of force that a manual adjustment delivers, the ArthroStim actually delivers a rapid succession of low-force taps (12 per second). Due to the controlled amount of force, the patient often experiences an adjustment via this device as a gentle “tapping massage” sensation. As a result, patients often respond by relaxing into the adjustment rather than tensing up, enabling the ArthroStim to better penetrate the affected tissue and resulting in a more successful adjustment and improved pain relief.
The ArthroStim device is an effective means of reducing nerve pain, muscle spasms, and dysfunction of the joint. It is a device that is safe for patients of all ages, regardless of previous conditions, injuries, or surgical history.
The VibraCussor Instrument
This handheld massage instrument helps relax the muscles and fascia surrounding the targeted body area, enabling the practitioner to deliver the necessary adjustment with greater ease and effectiveness. Unlike conventional massage tools, which typically use a back-and-forth movement, the VibraCussor uses a piston-like up-and-down motion. This produces waves of compression that travel through tissues to the affected muscles and fascia, allowing the instrument to release fascial adhesions, relax tense muscles, and improve circulation and lymph flow.
The VibraCussor has been found to be effective in treating myofascial trigger points, frozen shoulder, TMJ (temporomandibular joint) issues, joint fixation, muscle fatigue, and fascial adhesions, among other issues. The practitioner can adjust the percussion frequency so that specific tissues and tissue depths may be targeted.
